We are looking for a teammate who can jump in and lead the day-to-day account management for one or more of our clients in the food/consumer products business, and potentially help with our healthcare and/or sports clients as well. This is a great opportunity to learn all about the food business from the frontlines – or if you’ve already worked in that space, to put your expertise to good use!

We are looking for someone to join our Ithaca, NY team right on the Ithaca Commons. This is the center of our award-winning design team’s efforts, and an inspirational place to be.


You have earned a Bachelor’s degree or above.

You are good with people. At the end of the day, even business is about people. You must be positive-minded, empathetic and good at working through sometimes difficult requests.

You have experience managing client relationships, or can demonstrate that you have the ability to do so well.

You possess excellent written and verbal communication skills. In other words, you don’t hesitate to pick up the phone and call someone. And when an email is needed, you write thoughtfully and respectfully.

You are detail-oriented. Your job is to make sure tasks get done well and that nothing falls through the cracks.

You are self-motivated.

Travel: Some travel may be necessary. You should be able to travel for a few days at a time without issue.


This role requires managing of a lot of tasks, people and expectations. You’ll be at the center of a lot of thinking, planning, design work, campaign development and delivery between two teams. Task management is key.

Digital marketing experience is helpful. Much of our work relates to deployment of social and digital campaigns, assets and content. Knowing your way around these platforms is helpful. Understanding some industry jargon like ‘earned, owned and organic media’, and the ‘role of influencers’ would be helpful.

Social Media savvy. Proficiency in Social Media platforms, particularly Facebook, Instagram, Youtube, Twitter, and the ability to help generate innovative strategies for them would be helpful.

Email Marketing is a growing part of the work. You should be familiar with the core concepts, and experience with email marketing is a plus.

Reporting: As account manager, you will be responsible for regular reports on our team’s efforts. Being able to organize data, present it coherently, and thoughtfully is key.

Scheduling: You’ll be responsible for tracking calendar invites, setting up meetings and calls, and making sure the right people are invited and confirmed to attend.

Skills: You should be thoroughly versed in Word, Powerpoint, Excel and Google’s versions of the same.

Bonus skills: These are not required, but you will be exposed to WordPress, Google Analytics, HTML, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign), so ability to learn the basics of these will be helpful.

Salary range of $45k-$65k, commensurate with experience and location of work. Benefits include great healthcare coverage and generous personal/vacation/sick day plan.
