A social campaign to sign an online petition
Just over a year ago, Time Warner Cable announced that it was dropping Ovation, America’s only arts network. We worked with Ovation through 2013 on the network’s campaign to get Time Warner Cable to reinstate it. We used Facebook, Twitter, Google and other platforms to find arts advocates across the nation and drive them to an online petition urging TWC to reconsider its decision. The chorus of supporters grew throughout the year, and in October, Time Warner announced that it would relent and relaunch Ovation. Starting January 1st, 2014 Ovation’s innovative arts-focused programming was once again available to Time Warner Cable’s 11 million subscribers.
